Breaking News from Boreal Water Collection: Multi-Million Dollar Deal in Biggest Bottled Water Market in the World!

It’s no secret that millions of people drink water every day and those same people also drink it from a bottle.  In 2012, total U.S. bottled water consumption increased to 9.67 billion gallons, up from 9.1 billion gallons in 2011.  In fact, 2012’s consumption growth was the strongest it has been in five years.  In addition, per-capita consumption is up 5.3 percent in 2012, with every person in America drinking an average of 30.8 gallons of bottled water last year…but these are small fries compared to the global market where the country blazing the trail is found a bit more east.

According to a new report by Transparency Market Research, China is the most active market worldwide for bottled water.  Asia Pacific dominated the global bottled water market and accounted for 33% of the global demand valued at approximately $157.27 Billion in 2013.  In the coming six years, Asia Pacific is expected to remain the most promising market, with an estimated compound annual growth rate of 10.5% in terms of revenue from 2014 to 2020. The market is expected to reach $279.65 billion by 2020.

This morning, Boreal Water Collection (BRWC) announced that it has completed the $24 million private label agreement with SOHO Corp. for the Asian Market and received from them the first order for Boreal’s Catskill Mountain Spring Water under the brand name CATSKY. Earlier in August Boreal announced that its distributor, SOHO Corp, had been given the go-ahead from the Chinese government to import Boreal’s product line and today’s release sets this agreement in stone!

Francine Lavoie, CEO of Boreal Water Collection, Inc. stated, “We are so pleased with this private label agreement with SOHO Corp. and very happy to receive this new order from China. Asia is a huge market for our products. SOHO Corp. is a major player in Asia and they will promote the CATSKY brand for which the natural spring water comes from our Catskill Mountains spring. We strongly believe that this strategic alliance will help us penetrate this large Asian market earlier than expected and generate profits for our loyal shareholders in our 2015 forecast of revenues.”

For a company like Boreal to now be involved in one of the world’s largest markets for bottled water, China, the exponential growth could in turn be massive especially based on the company’s established distribution partnerships.  For these reasons, Boreal is immediately on my list going into this week.
